Description
One of the largest biomes, the marine biome folder introduces the Child to the world’s oceans, amongst other unique ecosystems. Unfortunately, even this biome is not safe from changes in the climate and pollution, and it is often said that all garbage and plastic ends up here.
This material is not intended to be an exhaustive supply of images; and information; for all the marine environments in the World. We suggest that the teacher expands on this information, as projects for the children to work upon. Due to differing sources of information on current marine biome placement, the highlighted area on the map should be used as a guide for the Child, rather than a definitive boundary.
