Description

The Turtle Skeleton Puzzle is one of a series of wooden puzzles. These jigsaws have knobs to assist the Child to lift the puzzle piece out of the frame. This finger movement is vital in the development of the finger “pincer” grip and the eye-hand co-ordination. Talking about their own environment compared to reptiles, makes children aware of similarities and differences in relation to habitat.

This forms part of a series of wooden puzzles whose pieces illustrate the component parts of the different vertebrate groups.

Care instructions for Childrens House Wooden Materials:

If wooden products are exposed to liquids, wipe dry as quickly as possible.
Most of the surfaces can be wiped with a damp cloth if exposed to dirt or grime.
Avoid leaving any of our wooden product in direct sunlight, as it may warp certain woods and/ or the coating may fade over time.

Good quality puzzle with sturdy puzzle piece knobs. Note that the depiction of the tortoise is a little flatter then most tortoises are. Looks a little more like a terapin in terms of the shape.
