Description

Why would you want to use a contraction?  The word, ‘contraction’ means to shorten, or abbreviate two words, something we do when we are talking, in an informal manner with our friends.  The Contraction Box contains 2 header cards, ‘Word’ and ‘Contraction’, and 32 word cards.  The Child matches the contraction on a card to the matching word card with full words.
