Description

The concepts of short and long multiplication of whole numbers (up to 100,000,000) are easily understood using the checker board mat. The exercises, taken from the Montessori Elementary curriculum are available.

Features of the Checker Board Mat:

• the mat, sold in a 800ml clear plastic container (BPA free) for storage.
• roll up or fold the mat for storing
• the beads don’t roll around
• you can wash the mat in the washing machine – 30° temp
• you can iron the mat on a cool temperature
• suitable for the 6 to 9 environment

There are 36 squares in the hierarchical colors of green, blue, and red on a grey background.
