Description
The Stamp Game actively facilitates the Child’s learning of the main operations;
- addition
- subtraction
- multiplication, and
- division
This engaging game transitions them from the concrete form of the golden bead, to a less tangible form of counters, imparting the main arithmetic concepts, in a more abstract manner within the context of a game. Once the Child understands how this game works, we suggest you consider using the Stamp Game Activity Set. This is a set of activities, rising in complexity, that the Child can work through, independently. Each exercise is self-checking, with the answer in the rear of the card.
In this material, the quantity, and symbols of the decimal system blend harmoniously, with each ‘stamp’ serving as a representation of both quantity and symbol. The activity set in the one gallery image, is sold as a separate item.
