Description:

At Waxberry Montessori, we are dedicated to authentic Montessori education, guided by pure Montessori principles. We provide a nurturing and enriching environment for children aged 18 months to 12 years. Our mixed-age Montessori environment supports students from pre-primary through to elementary.

We work together, share expertise and experience to provide the best outcomes for students. We place a high degree of trust in our staff and endeavour to preserve and inclusive and harmonious working environment. This role offers the opportunity to progress within the school.

The Role:

• Montessori-trained, energetic, motivated, and passionate Montessori Primary Teacher for a full-time position commencing in Term 1, 2026.
• Ability to deliver an authentic Montessori Education supported by the Albanesi Curriculum.
• Maintain a well prepared Montessori environment both indoors and out.
• Experience with an ability to plan and record for each child’s individual progress.

 

The Hours:

07:00 – 15:15 with two days of aftercare.

 

Requirements:

• BEd/PGCE and recognised Montessori 6-12 Qualification.
• Teaching experience with 6-12 year-olds (Montessori experience highly preferred).
• SACE registration a valid police clearance and a valid first aid certificate.
• A Strong commitment to child-led learning, fostering independence and critical thinking.
• A drive to grow within your role, adaptability; excellent interpersonal, communication and administrative skills.
• Ability to follow Waxberry Montessori’s values and ethos to ensure the continued growth of the school.
