Teaching Post for 3 to 6 Guide – January 2026

Description:

The Bay Academy are seeking a passionate and experienced lead Montessori Guide to join their community, working with children aged 3–6 years.

Requirements:

• Creative, hard-working, intuitive, and pro-active
• Prepared, punctual, reliable, and honest
• Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
• Committed to offering pure / undiluted Montessori. Displaying a sound understanding of the Montessori philosophy
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a committed team
• Able to write narrative reports based on thorough record keeping and observation.

Qualifications Required:

• Have a Montessori qualification for working with children 3 to 6 years
• Police Clearance Certificate
• Current SACE registration (advantageous)
• Valid Level 1 First Aid (advantageous)
• At least 5 years experience in a Montessori 3-6 class
