Spooning - Variation 1
Spooning - Variation 2
Our Transferring Activity Sets resemble everyday activities the Child observes an adult performing. Using real and familiar items for the suggested exercises, lets the Child understand how important these tasks are. Lay out the trays as beautifully as possible to attract the Child to the different tasks.
Childrens House introduces variations of these transferring activities. You decide which of the various products will satisfy your children’s need to perfect their level of skill. Once mastered, they will be ready to move on to the next level. Please click on each item below that suits your need and checkout for prompt delivery.
The practical life activities begin with pouring solid objects. Once they gain control and coordination with pouring, they move to spooning. The beginner starts with the largest jug or pitcher; moving onto the smaller items when ready.
The Child develops concentration as well as muscle control to prevent spilling these beans.
The Child concentrates on using whole arm and hand movements. They do not tire of repetition; understanding the need to focus.
Each activity introduces a new level of difficulty, e.g. these glass bowls require different hand movements to spoon the beans compared to the ceramic bowl. Observe their muscle movements.
