Description

Matching and sorting activities help children develop a range of thinking skills.  They also build foundations for other indirect concepts;  such as visual discrimination skills.  These skills help the Child to learn how to solve problems.

This activity, the Vegetable Matching Cards teaches children to look for similarities and differences of shapes, patterns and relationships to develop cognitive skills.  Improved, fine motor skills is a further indirect outcome that aids the Child in their growth.

This set of matching cards will further improve and broaden the Child’s vocabulary.

Contents of the Vegetable Matching Cards

• 2 x 27 sets of cards depicting common and unusual vegetables of all varieties
• a control and mute card illustrates each vegetable individually.  The control card has a green dot in the top left hand corner
• vibrantly coloured, high definition images of real vegetables
• printed with eco-friendly ink on non-tear, recyclable card
• wipe cards clean with a damp cloth.  They do not require lamination
• delivered in a plastic container with a lid
