Description
Between the ages of 3 and 5 children instinctively begin to sort objects and things and place them in order. They feel that they are in ‘control’ of their world, and as it is part of their sensitive period, this should be encouraged.
Children use solid objects, or something that they can touch, pick up and feel, to learn how to sort, count and learn to generally categorise. The round counters serve this purpose, consistent in all ways, except colour. This set provides a great opportunity to include colour discrimination into the sorting exercise whilst improving the Child’s fine motor skills.
