Description
Between the ages of 3, and 6 children continuously improve their vocabulary, building on the knowledge they learn every day. Rhyming words also play a vital role building the Child’s vocabulary; using a slightly different part of their memory to that of other standard means; to build children’s vocabulary. These cards; known as the Rhyming Activity; are a great way to introduce rhyming words. Challenge the Child to find other words that can rhyme together, and show them how to build rhyming phrases, introducing them to poetry.
Illustrations on the Rhyming Activity Cards
- 12 large cards with 4 illustrations on each

- 3 smaller images, one of which will rhyme to the header image, i.e. ‘clock’, ‘cage’ or ‘brown’
