Description
Starfish; or “sea stars”; are not fish, and belong to the invertebrates set; without a backbone; called Echinodermata. There are approximately 1,600 different species of starfish in the world’s oceans. This activity; the Parts of a Starfish Activity; highlights all the important parts of this invertebrate. Based upon the Montessori zoological curriculum, the material is colour-coded with a black border around each card.
