Description
All of our activity sets originate from the botany; and zoological puzzles; used in the traditional Montessori classroom. This activity follows the children’s work on the Leaf Puzzle Activity. The Parts of a Leaf Activity expands their knowledge of leaves; and improves vocabulary skills; as they now work, exclusively, with these far more abstract materials.
The activity set introduces a booklet; which provides an overview of the subject matter; definition cards, and 3-part cards. Depending upon the development of the Child, parts of this activity can be presented to the 3 to 6 year old, but it is mainly aimed at the 6 to 9 environment.

I am an elementary teacher in California. This is probably the best example of elementary Montessori activity I have seen.

Wow – this is such a comprehensive activity. Seeing the detail and the hours of research that went into this is really good value.
