Description
In the Montessori literacy curriculum, children are taught to read phonetically. Beginning with the “I Spy Game”, the Child builds their vocabulary. These language objects, specifically chosen for this game, help children absorb information through sight, sound and touch.
How should we use Objects For Pink Reading Series?
Listening games challenge children to hear, and visualise the letters making the sounds of the words. Repetition of the I Spy game, trains little ears to identify the individual sound of the letters, of the chosen object.
Contents of the Objects for Pink Series
38 Cards representing 3-letter phonetic words, with 18 matching objects.
The Child selects an object, and builds the word using the movable alphabet, or as a reading exercise with the cards.
The objects offered, may differ from the ones shown in the product photograph. Individual objects depend upon availability, but there will always be 18 objects.

Objects are robust and durable. The set arrived quickly which is great as this is not an easy activity to make yourself as the little pieces are difficult to collect.
Thank you Childrens House for the the quick and hassle free delivery. We laminated the cards to help them last longer among all the sticky fingers.
