Description
The Montessori Multiplication Working Chart is a fun and helpful tool that supports the Child as they learn their times tables. This activity helps children build self-esteem and confidence, by letting them explore and learn at their own pace. Instead of just memorising answers, they are actively involved in the learning process, and as it is a self-correcting activity, they work independently and can always check their answers on the control charts.
How is the Working Chart different?
The direct aim of this activity, is not for the Child to memorise the times tables, but for them to acquire number sense, and to begin the process of building a relationship between numbers and how to manipulate them.
As an interactive activity, the Child will develop a range of numeracy skills:
- number compositions
- number patterns
- understand the difference between even and odd numbers
- squares and cubes
Contents found in the Multiplication Working Charts:
- 2 control charts
