Description
In traditional grammatical terms, men and women; or male and female; were always seen as binary genders; i.e. there were no more than 2 genders. In todays’ world, this may no longer be true. However, to enable the Child to understand gender classification, it is important for them to learn the traditional norms of determining the Masculine and Feminine of different groups of people. The individuals in each group of people may wish to be known by a non-binary pronoun, but as a group, the nouns classifying the group, are still valued.
