Description
All plant life begins with a seed, normally sown into the soil. This product provides the Child with an introduction to a realistic depiction, of how a seed grows, and develops into a plant seeking the sun. The card material; the life cycle of a green bean activity; is colour-coded according to the system used by the Montessori Plant Kingdom, with green indicating plants.
Features of the Life Cycle of a Green Bean Activity:

- 4 x 3-part cards, classifying the nomenclature for the very young child.
- a A4 control chart
- 2 x A4 working charts, one labelled and the other unlabelled
- small images and labels, for each stage of the plant’s lifecycle
- 4 activity cards and real images, for a matching exercise
- 2 sets of 4 definition cards each
- 1 set is the control;
- the other set has one redacted word, for the child to complete
- sold in a transparent, plastic A4 envelope for storage
The teacher can also use the definition cards as an aid, telling the very young children about the story of the green bean
