Once the Child has completed the concrete activity known as the land, air and water jars, they move onto the Land Air and Water Cards; a sorting exercise. This product is another step in the Child’s journey as they learn how to read and write, moving to the abstract. The Child sorts each card under the correct category and discusses the image. The direct objective is to increase vocabulary. This forms part of the Montessori curriculum.
