Description
Studying the thermometer is a way to introduce the climate, and other related subjects. The best way to introduce these subjects is through the use of this large indoor, or outdoor thermometer. Designated Child/ren can record both temperatures daily, which will initiate a lot of discussions –
- What are the two different measurements?
- Why is there a difference?
- What can we do with the measurements?
- Did we expect to see a difference?
- What can we do to control the temperature?
Some of the answers the children give, may surprise the teacher. Introducing mathematics, science, and other curricula; as suggested in the Rain Gauge activity, will also enhance this one.

Such a nice size. It hangs on the wall for all the children to see. Great feature for the class.
