Description
One of the main aims of the Montessori Method of teaching is to develop, and refine, the sensory skills of pre-school (3 to 6 year old) children. The Montessori designed materials, used with sensorial work, helps the Child become more logical, perceptive, and aware. They transition to the abstract, with the Geometric Nomenclature 3 Part Cards, once they have mastered the concrete shapes of the geometry cabinet. This is one of Maria Montessori’s original sensorial activities used in her first Casa dei Bambini.
