Description

This activity; the Europe Flags; is now translated into Spanish.  They are presented in the form of 3-part cards.

Europe is the 2nd smallest continent in the world.  It lies between two Oceans; the Arctic and Atlantic; and between the Mediterranean Sea, and Ural Mountains.  It is known as the continent of peninsulas.  This continent has varied, and diverse cultures.  44 countries with their individual flags, form this activity.  Each control card depicts a beautifully illustrated flag of the country concerned, and a map indicating where it is situated on the continent, together with the name of the country.

• vibrantly coloured, high definition images of the national flag of each country
• the direct objective for the Child:
  • to learn the name, and flag for each country
• indirectly, the Child develops a natural curiosity for other cultures, and an interest to learn more
