Description
The environment determines the shape, size and colour of each leaf. Every type of leaf shape, is designed with a special function in mind. Learning the correct nomenclature from the start improves the Child’s knowledge and encourages them to investigate more.
This product is an essential activity for your Botany shelf. The child works with this material in conjunction with the Botany cabinet. Every leaf has a different shape, colour and size.
Leaves are the organ for photosynthesis, the process by which plants use sunlight, water and carbon dioxide to create oxygen and energy in the form of sugar. The environmental conditions in the leaves’ habitat helped to alter the leaves’ shapes to adapt to their environmental conditions.

Been using the botany cards for a while now. And I must say with all of the use, the cards are still holding up
I was reluctant at first to leave them unlaminated, but they really are worth buying versus the card stock ones.

It is nice to know that when you buy product from Childrens House, the products are consistent – the shapes of the leaves match the Botany Cabinet. The print quality is really good and hard wearing.
