Description
Children learn to count easily, when they have a physical symbol. The Bead Chain of 100, helps them to associate with the abstract number as they count from 1 to 100. An additional skill they learn is sequencing.
Using the printed arrows and pre-printed labels, the Child can lay out the 100 bead chain on the mat, and number each unit and thereafter every ten. This demonstrates linear counting to the Child. Providing them with an example to visualise and memorise.
