Description
The Child is introduced to grammar by learning the function of words. Maria Montessori recognised the need to allow a Child to touch a concrete version of these parts of speech; so that they could absorb the meaning of a ‘verb’ or ‘noun’ not only orally, but through their other senses as well. This product, the basic wooden grammar symbols, is the concrete memory that the Child seeks; teaching them in a dynamic and physical way.
