Description
The Alphabet Picture Matching Game is a floor matching exercise. We feature letters a-to-z, with 3 blocks below the letter. Each letter has a choice of 3 real-life images, that the Child matches to the correct letter of the alphabet. The selected images, are phonetically accurate to match the letter of the alphabet. In the case of letter ‘x’, it is not necessarily at the beginning of the word, i.e. ‘box’.
Included, are 3 small boxes. It is suggested that you do not give all the image cards to the children in one go, but rather sort them into groups. You can also use the small boxes, to separate them into your preferred teaching method.

This series of sounds so varied and so well known, which come to life in the presence of an enigmatic symbol like a letter of the alphabet, are a novelty for him. There is a mystery about it that arouses in him an intense interest. ” The Discovery of the Child p.213
