About the School
Shereens Montessori has a dedicated team of inspirational staff who are committed to delivering the highest standards for each and every child at the school.
The Principal is Sadiya Mohammed who is supported by Shereens Board Members and a dynamic team.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a high level of professionalism, ensuring we keep ourselves well-informed on government policy in education as well as keeping ourselves abreast of new research and developments in the field of education.
Our teaching staff serve as mentors to student interns who are completing their Montessori teacher training.
All of our teaching staff are trained and qualified Montessori teachers (also known as Directresses). Some staff who work in the capacity of assistant directresses or classroom assistants are still in training
The Role
Shereens Montessori are seeking a 0-3 qualified, passionate, caring, hardworking and experienced
Montessori Assistant Directress, to start soonest, by 1st March 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Have a recognised 0-3 year Montessori qualification or studying towards one.
- Have a sound understanding of, and passion for, the Montessori philosophy
- Pediatric First Aid Training
- Have SACE registration
- Excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills
- We are seeking applicants with excellent leadership skills, work ethic, professionalism and
classroom management skills. - Ideally, you will have the following abilities;
