Morning Star Montessori, a well-established pre- and primary school in Pretoria East, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori teacher (6-9 age group) to join our team. We are looking for an educator who is committed to making a meaningful difference in children’s lives and is willing to invest time and effort in fostering a nurturing learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Hold a Montessori qualification or a traditional teaching qualification with Montessori teaching experience.
• Embody Montessori principles and ethos, promoting best practices in Montessori education.
• Be willing to adapt to different learning styles, open to learning, and eager to collaborate with colleagues, fostering a strong sense of teamwork and community.
• Create a child-centered learning environment, catering to different learning styles.
• Possess keen observation skills to assess student progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Have a growth mindset and be willing to pursue further studies if necessary.
• Demonstrate excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Be SACE registered and have a valid Police Clearance (or be in the process of obtaining one).
