What would Madiba Do?

There is no story more pertinent to Madiba’s call to action than that of “Where Rainbows Meet”. Mymoena Scholtz, the Director, began her work among the crime-ridden, multicultural communities of Vrygrond in 2008. She picked up the call to action from Madiba, “Take action. Inspire change. Make everyday a Mandela Day”. Against all odds, this haven in the midst of this poverty stricken community thrived. Her vision is to focus on the children, helping them to hope and to build a stronger community for themselves and others through the service of others.
