The government has spoken and laid a date in the ground for schools to re-open. This does not change the world’s “new normal” way of operating. What it does change, is the need to double our screening and prevention protocols.
Every morning when you and I wake; we take stock of the physical state of our bodies, consciously double checking our physical distance from each other. Always wearing a clean, sanitised mask, washing and sanitising our hands regularly. And we worry about the health of our nearest and dearest, checking in with them.
Childrens House is no different. We want to reassure you that we have imposed the most stringent operating procedures to make sure that we do not break the seal of hygiene around each parcel we deliver.
Our employees are working shifts. Only a third are on duty at any one time, and those that can work from home are doing so. Everyone’s temperature is taken via the Fever Screen and sanitized on arrival using the Hands-Free Sanitizer Station. They wear a mask and vizor (if required). Clear, designated areas where they can work are laid out and the required is maintained.
The couriers operate in a very similar manner, in the reverse. All parcels are packed in a sterilised area and manner and left either outside or in the portico at our entrance (depending upon the weather) waiting collection. No physical interaction between them and any member of staff takes place.
Rest assured, Childrens House would like to reassure you that we have put into place every health and safety protocol we can to maintain the ongoing operation of our business. We promise to be transparent in all our actions ensuring the safety of all employees, customers and couriers as you and I navigate this “new normal”.
